Kim came to Beverly in 1994 when she accepted the paint internship at the North Shore Music Theatre. She soon after became the Scenic Charge and now resides in Beverly.

She has since joined IATSE and now paints the sets for television & films made in Massachusetts. Kim is honored to have been the Scenic Charge for the movie “CODA”.

“CODA” was awarded “Best Picture”at the 94th Oscar awards and was filmed locally including in Beverly.

The themes for her artwork flow from nature, living in coastal New England, vintage, nostalgia and repurposing items and also celebrating everyday objects. Kim also lends her artwork for art licensing.

Her permanent public art pieces can be found at Bradley Palmer State park and Logan International Airport.

As an artist her philosophy is that art should be obtainable to everyone and enjoyed everyday.
